River Cottage HQ We are only 15 miles (20 minutes by car or taxi) from the headquarters of River Cottage popularised by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstalls TV series. At their HQ there are workshops, seminars and events and it is home to their renowned restaurant. It is fascinating listening to the River Cottage team talk about their approach to food and answer questions. We really enjoyed an entertaining talk about foraging for mushrooms and the sampling that followed, of course.
